This is my second time using City Prom and I really can't recommend it enough. My daughter enjoyed the private fitting with Madeline, who has a wealth of experience. I visited City Prom to purchase dresses for my 3 daughters. The service was absolutely amazing. We did not feel pressured into purchasing and we were encouraged to take our time and try on as many dresses as we wanted to. Also encouraged to take time and think before purchasing. In the end we actually purchased 4 as I couldn’t resist one either! Next level service way above and beyond what we expected as one dress had to be ordered and it arrived so quickly. We had a fabulous experience at City Prom today with Madeleine. The setting is welcoming with gorgeous dresses, so much choice. Madeleine is an excellent, experienced advisor and really put my daughter at ease. She listened to her and helped her to feel comfortable and to enjoy the appointment! We visited city prom looking for a prom dress for my daughter, Madeleine was fantastic from start to finish. A stunning selection of the most beautiful dresses in every colour and every style possible. Would definitely recommend booking an appointment, it’s one on one with no disruptions as your appointment is solely for you. My daughter is a dancer and knows what fabrics she's comfortable wearing and what dress shapes suit her. She had an idea of what colour and style she wanted for her prom - which was also the same day as her 16th birthday. Madeleine made her feel confident in her choice by pulling other dresses for options too. She didn't rush her or push her to make any choices and let her try on her chosen dress a couple of times to make sure it was "the one".
I would definitely shop here again and it would be my first choice store for anyone looking now.

Absolutely fantastic service. My daughter is not really girly girly, and I was waiting for her to dread the experience of trying on dresses and so forth. How wrong was I? My daughter was put at ease immediately, and she absolutely loved her experience. She was made to feel comfortable and confident! She said yes to the dress and it is absolutely gorgeous. I popped into City Prom yesterday, with my daughter, as a first opportunity to dry on dresses to gather some ideas about what she might like. During the visit Madeleine was extremely intuitive toy daughter's wants and needs and veryq sensitively guider her towards styles and colours that would suit her amd more importantly make her feel comfortable and confident. I was extremely pleased with how calm and understanding she was when giving advice and there was certainly no 'pushy sales tactics' at all. We were giving generous time and a variety of dresses for my daughter to try and ended up buying a truly beautiful dress that made my daughter shine! Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience that was so in tune to my daughter.... we would both most definitely recommend Madeleune at City Prom!

We came to the shop to have a look at the selection of dresses. Madeline was an amazing help. She was kind caring and very patient. My daughter must have tried nearly every dress in the shop ( Some multiple times). She gave constructive advice on colour, shape style etc and was so patient with my daughter. I would highly recommend anyone that needs to purchase a prom dress for their child or a dress for a special occasion you won’t go wrong here. You will leave the shop feeling like a princess. Had a lovely experience here purchasing a Morilee dress for my daughter's prom. Madeleine could tell my daughter's dress size at a glance and we were able to order in my daughter's first choice of dress. Our appointment was exclusively ours, so we were able to try several other dresses that we had earmarked as alternates. Madeleine also connected us with a fabulous seamstress (Sarah) for alterations, who also did a great job at a good price. The dresses in the shop are both beautiful and of great quality. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful experience this was for my daughter. Madeleine was very friendly and knowledgeable and instantly put Grace at ease. It was very clear Madeleine knew exactly what would suit Grace. After asking her a few questions about her preferences Madeleine had literally picked out Graces dream dress. Grace had a wonderful time trying on all the dresses. I can’t recommend City Prom enough and I’ll definitely be returning when it’s time for my younger daughters prom.

We offer 1-2-1 private appointments to ensure our customers and their families receive the best service possible. Due to the seasonal nature of prom, we operate by appointment only. This means we can spread the flow of visitors throughout the day, ensuring that there are not too many people in the shop at any one time having to wait for the fitting room.
